Reducing file

From www.usajobs.gov, I submitted along with saved documents an OF-306.

Using Adobe Photoshop, I filled up the form.
Save each page in one file (1,2,3, etc.) in a subfolder

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9:
Combine
Merge Files into a Single PDF
Add Files
Combine Files
Save the Binder into a file name

The file saved was 7.93 MB in size
USAJobs has a 5 MB limit

Solutions:
Adobe Acrobat Pro 9
Advanced
PDF Optimizer
Save into another file name xxx_reduced.pdf

Result:
New file size became only 1.74 MB to be in compliance with file size.
